This book celebrates the 50th birhday of my husband, Mark Flowers; artist and art educator.

It contains images and writings contributed by 50-plus art students, artist friends and family.

The cover is lacewood with imbeded artifacts from various homesites; a flat stone from Lake Michigan, an oyster shell from Bluffton, SC., an acorn from Mercersburg, Pa. The pages are made from 45 rpm record sleeves and provide a window for a preview of the text and artwork printed on two sides of cover-weight removable cards.
